Hernando County uses Alert Hernando to warn its residents about freeze watch and warning

Brooksville, FL–Hernando County officials sent two weather messages about an hour ago via its Alert Hernando messaging system. The National Weather Service in Tampa Bay – Ruskin, FL has updated its freeze watch and warning for the Suncoast Region.

Lows are now forecast to dip into the 20s with a longer duration of sub-freezing temperatures.
