Dunnellon, FL–This Amber Alert has been found.
A five-year-old Dunnellon girl is missing and the subject of an Amber Alert in Marion County. Alexandria Green is a white female approximately 3 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing 70 pounds. Alexandria has brown hair and green eyes. She was wearing dark colored shorts that may be black or blue, and an orange t-shirt with the words “mac and cheese” on the front.
Alexandria was last seen with her biological father, Alan Wayne Green (DOB: 08/24/1961) on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at her grandparent’s house located at 10045 SW 186th Avenue, Dunnellon, Florida. Alexandria is currently assigned to the custody of her grandparents and Alan was having a court-allowed unsupervised visit with his daughter at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, their visit was only supposed to last 1-2 hours, but Alexandria’s grandparents have not seen or heard from Alan or Alexandria since. At approximately 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening, Alexandria’s biological mother and Alan’s wife, Mechealine Mazakis (DOB: 05/18/1969, who must have supervised visits with Alexandria) went missing from her home in the Silver Springs Shores area and has not shown up at work since Monday. It is possible that the three are currently together.
A judge issued a DCF pick-up order for Alexandria yesterday afternoon. Due to Alan Green’s history of mental illness, and because of the erratic and absent behavior of both parents, Alexandria is now listed as Missing Endangered and an AMBER alert has been issued. Green has a tattoo on his left bicep as well as on the left side of his chest. Police believe Green may be driving a 2014 Scion, blue in color, with Florida tag number AMLC10.
Anyone with information on the location of Alexandria or Alan Green, please call the Marion County Sheriff’s Office at 352-732-9111, or call 911.
